I was a little apprehensive buying this gum because I was used to Nicorette mint gum. It costs about half as much so I was wondering what the catch was. The expiration date of the gum is about 13 months from now for all of the gum.The only difference I've noticed between this and the Nicorette is that the Nicorette has more of a crunch when initially chewing the gum. This made me think that this might have been stale but I get the same buzz as Nicorette, so I'm sold on Habitrol. Also, these blister packs come in 12 pieces and can't be individually separated like Nicorette, but this is not important to me at all.Here in SoCal, packs of what I smoked were about $5 a pack. Chewing 12 pieces of this per day, which is what I can max out at, is about $2.50 a day. So, even if I were to swap addictions, cigs for gum, it'd be a lot cheaper and I and my stuff won't smell like smoke anymore. I never liked the smell or taste of smoke, I just wanted the buzz, so this works out great.

I quit smoking on April 1 of this year and the nicotine replacement gum has worked perfectly for me. I encourage anyone who wants to quit to try this product; sure has helped me.
