Product Description

AQUACEL® Ag Dressing is an absorbent, antimicrobial barrier dressing that features all the benefits of AQUACEL® dressing plus ionic silver. AQUACEL® Ag kills a broad spectrum of wound pathogens in the dressing. AQUACEL® Ag is a soft, conformable dressing designed to non-traumatic removal of the dressing without damaging newly formed tissue. Indications include partial thickness burns, skin grafts and donor sites, postoperative wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers and pressure ulcers.

Works well but EXPENSIVE

My caregiver used these on my elderly mother whose skin was fragile. She had some awful wounds. These worked well to lessen healing time and did not stick to the skin. Very good in the circumstances. But very expensive. Hard to see how they justify the price.
