The Shoulder model is comprised of two individual pads in a flexible configuration to treat the front and back of the shoulder. This unit uses 24 watts and includes 2 infrared inserts; each 3" by 8".
ThermotexTM is a convenient, portable infrared heating pad that you can use at home, in the office, while driving or on vacation to provide effective temporary pain relief wherever and whenever you need it. The ThermotexTM Heating Pad produces infrared heating to provide deep penetrating warmth for temporary relief of acute and chronic pain.
Pain from injury and chronic ailments can be debilitating and keep you from participating in the activities you enjoy. Below are a few of the conditions ThermotexTM has provided temporary relief of pain:
Pain medication therapy
Most pain medications simply disrupt the body's pain signals to the brain, masking the body's ability to recognize pain, rather than removing the source or cause of that pain. The effectiveness of ThermotexTM in reducing and controlling your pain will in most cases allow you to reduce your pain medication intake. ThermotexTM provides effective, non-invasive, non-addictive pain relief with no side effects. Thermography is used to measure the radiation of heat. In the following pictures you will see that the initial state of the injured area in each case is showing colder than the surrounding tissue. This is accounted for by the lack of blood flow in that injured area. As the injury is treated and the pain relieved by increasing blood flow, the temperature of the injured area returns to normal.

I love Thermotex products and no I don't work for the company. It penetrates 2-1/2" under your muscles and helps especially with whiplash or herniated discs and annualar tear pain and muscle spasms. I would recommend using ice alternating this treatment to take down inflammation. I use the infrared platinum for my back but this is very therapeutic and they usually use this in a Physiotherapist or Chiropractor office. My Pain Management Dr. recommended this pad. Not to be used with Spinal cord Stimulator.

Love this product. For anyone who hasn't tried thermotex heating pads they are well worth the money. The infrared heating is wonderful. Received this product in excellent condition and quickly.
