I'm not a professional stylist and I'll admit I was a little reluctant to spend $35 on a styling razor when there are cheap ones available here on Amazon, but after trying the far inferior Diamond Edge Platinum Hair Shaper which was a piece of mass produced junk, I opted to invest in the Kamisori H4.Kamisori is a Japanese company that produces high end shears and styling tools and this razor has the look and feel of a truly professional quality product that will last for years. The handle is one solid piece of high grade stainless steel, so it can not bend or break and the razors are samurai sharp.The ergonomic design makes it easier to handle, which is important when doing precision razor shearing and cleaning up those single little stray hairs here and there. (Trust me, if you're using a razor on your own hair or others, the better it fits in your hand and the more comfortable it is to use will make all the difference in the quality and precision of your work.)I've got short hair; cut very close on the sides and I often get little wiry stray hairs sticking out as it grows out. The problem with cutting them with scissors is that you can't get that angled, shearing effect that helps the hair lie flat and smooths the end downward for precision blending. This tool does an awesome job of precision detailing to keep my hair looking clean and styled between professional cuts.Kamisori also makes a more economical version called the Kamisori H-3 Silver Razor (blue) Professional Hair Styling Razor as well as the Kamisori H-3t Titanium Razor Professional Hair Styling Razor, Green which is also good quality, but both without the ergonomic grip. (The H4 here is still their highest quality razor and most expensive on their website) Both the H3 and H4 razors take the same Kamisori H3 Razor Refill Blades, 10XpackI rate this 4 stars because of the price. 35 bucks and the cost of replacement blades is pricey for a non professional who doesn't use it all day every day.

As an asian, this seems to works better than the ones with teeth. Very easy to trim down bulky hair.
